I’m warm, caring and an active, yet gentle, facilitator of your inner wisdom, self compassion and strengths.
I bring my full self as a therapist into our relationship: transparent, present, and even playful. I’m sensitive and get tuned in with your experience. This way we can discover together how you’re wired to repeat patterns, and how to change this wiring.
Clients tell me I’m warm and easy to connect with. Honestly, that’s mostly because I’m an easygoing person, and enjoy helping you to have a better life.
With me, there’s no agenda. We work on what you want to work on. We go at your speed. I provide a lot of support and guidance, but your therapy is fully your own. I often help people figure out “what to talk about,” as therapy can sometimes seem intimidating.
I’m interested in you feeling and being your happiest most true self. If you can walk out saying you know yourself better, you’re no longer self-sabotaging, and you feel strong and able to achieve your goals, then we’ve done great work.
I want this therapy to lay the groundwork for you to feel in control of your life and your experiences.
Therapy saved my life at its lowest points, like when I went through a rough divorce from a bad marriage in my early 30s. I know first-hand that you don’t go looking for a therapist unless you’re feeling pretty desperate and awful.
If that’s you right now, call me. If you need a therapist like me with years and years of experience to move you back into feeling like yourself again as quickly as possible, I’d love to help you.
I’ve been doing this work a long time, and no matter what you’re going through, chances are I’ve seen it before and helped someone else through it.
I also don’t think therapy should be all sadness and pain. Frankly, my clients and I get through the hard stuff, and we laugh a lot along the way! I’m a playful, creative person. I love live music, hiking, and adventures, and I love finding the humor even in the tough spots.
I’d like to help you do that, too! Give me a call so we can talk more.
Here’s my education and training. I love learning so can better help people be happier.
